Ian Freyne

Ian Freyne is a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience delivering technology services and support across a wide range of environments. His career has progressed from 2nd line support through to senior project engineering, giving him a strong technical foundation as well as a practical understanding of how to align IT services with business needs.

For the past four years, Ian has worked as a Technical Account Manager, supporting a diverse client base ranging from smaller organisations with around 10 users to larger businesses with over 2,000 seats. This breadth of experience enables him to adapt his approach to each client’s size, maturity and strategic priorities, ensuring the technology roadmap is both effective and fit for purpose.

Ian is known for offering strategic guidance and consultancy that helps clients make the best possible use of their IT investments. He works closely with organisations to understand their goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions that enhance resilience, performance and long-term value.

He particularly enjoys working in partnership with clients to maintain the integrity of their IT systems and support dependable day-to-day operations. By combining technical insight with a consultative mindset, Ian helps build confidence in technology and ensures clients are well positioned to meet both current demands and future challenges.

A key part of Ian’s approach is relationship-building. He values trusted, collaborative partnerships and takes pride in developing strong client relationships that are built on communication, credibility and a genuine commitment to delivering the right outcomes.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys keeping active at the gym and is an avid Aston Villa supporter.
