Our Values

What We Stand For

Our values guide every decision we make and every interaction we have.

P
People Centric

Technology is only useful when it solves a real problem for a real person. In practice, that's rarer than it should be. Being people centric means we start every conversation by listening. We want to understand how your business makes money, where it's heading, and what's getting in the way. Only then do we recommend anything. It also means we treat our own team properly. The people who support your business are invested in their work because they feel supported in theirs. You'll get a named, technical account manager[EC2.1] who knows your setup and gives you advice that reflects your goals rather than our margins. Including the occasional honest "you don't need that yet".

O
One Team

When something goes wrong (and in IT, things occasionally do), the instinct at many providers is to find whose ticket it was and work out who to blame. That's not how we work. When you raise an issue, you won't be passed around. Your account manager knows your setup and works directly with the engineers on your infrastructure. They move together. A cloud migration or cybersecurity rollout involves multiple disciplines. The reason these go smoothly is that our teams communicate properly with each other first. You'll see it in escalation routes that just work and in a team that feels like an extension of yours.

I
Integrity

Integrity is easy to claim and hard to demonstrate. We try to demonstrate it in specific, practical ways. If a service isn't right for your business, we'll say so, even if that costs us a sale. We'll flag problems before you notice them. And on the difficult conversations, what you're paying for and why, we don't wait for you to ask. Our ISO 27001 certification and other accreditations speak for themselves. Our information security practices have been through independent audit, not just a self-assessment. Perhaps the most concrete signal of all: we're in the process of becoming an employee-owned business. The people who look after your infrastructure will have a direct stake in how this business is run. That kind of ownership tends to show. And when we make a mistake, because we're a growing business and things occasionally don't go to plan, we'll tell you what happened and what we changed.

N
Never Settle

The technology landscape changes fast. Threats that didn't exist eighteen months ago are now the primary route into business networks. AI tools have moved from interesting to essential. Cloud services we recommended two years ago have cheaper, better alternatives today. Never settle means we're always looking for ways to improve. We run a "customer zero" model where new tools get tested on our own business before we recommend them to clients. We take the risk first. We also run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), a structured framework for goal-setting and accountability across the whole business. That shows up in how organised and proactive we are with your account: regular reviews that challenge the status quo, recommendations that come to you rather than waiting for you to ask.

T
Thrive Together

We want Inflection Point to be somewhere people do their best work and feel valued for it, because we know that when a team thrives, clients feel it. An engineer who's invested in their work is more thorough and more creative when solving problems. Low staff turnover means you'll speak to the same people year after year, people who know your history. The businesses that have been with us longest are the ones where we've built something genuinely useful together. That takes honesty on both sides, and contracts that work for both parties. It's what we aim for with every new client.

Most businesses have values that live on a slide deck, get mentioned at the annual conference, and quietly disappear by February.

Ours don't work like that.

P.O.I.N.T. is the framework we use to hire, run projects, resolve problems, and hold ourselves accountable, both internally and with clients. Everyone who joins Inflection Point is assessed against these values before they're offered a role. Every recommendation, every service review, is shaped by them.

If you're considering working with us, these values are what you'll actually experience, from the first call to the fifth year of the relationship.
