Our employee engagement survey returned overwhelmingly positive results — including 100% of respondents saying they're proud to work here. But the real value isn't the numbers, it's what we do next. Here's what we learned and where we're focusing.
At Inflection Point, we believe that creating a great place to work isn't something that happens by accident. It's built through trust, transparency, shared purpose, and a genuine commitment to putting people first.
Recently, we asked our team for honest feedback on their experience of working at Inflection Point. As a leadership team, we wanted to understand what we're doing well, where we can improve and how we continue building a business that people are proud to be part of.
The results were incredibly positive. We were delighted to see that 100% of respondents said they are proud to work at Inflection Point, trust management to do the right thing, believe people genuinely care about each other and would recommend us as a great place to work. We also saw exceptionally high scores around psychological safety, belonging, and support.
While those results are something we're incredibly proud of, the real value of the survey isn't the numbers themselves. It's the opportunity to listen, learn and act.
Creating a Culture People Want to Be Part Of
One of the things that stood out most in the feedback was the strength of our culture.
Employees consistently highlighted meaningful work, strong relationships, trust, respect and a sense of belonging as some of the things they value most about working here. For us, that's hugely significant.
As a business, we've always believed that great results come from creating an environment where people feel valued, supported and trusted to do their best work. When people genuinely care about one another and feel connected to a shared purpose, it creates a culture where everyone can thrive.
Those themes also align closely with our core values:
- People First
- One Team
- Integrity
- Never Settle
- Thrive Together
Values only matter if they are reflected in everyday experiences. It was encouraging to see so much of the feedback reinforcing that what we've worked hard to build is being felt across the business.
Why Feedback Matters
As an EOS-run business, we place huge importance on open, honest and vulnerable conversations without judgement. Feedback is one of the most important ways we measure our success as a business and as a leadership team. It helps us understand how people feel, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure we're making decisions that genuinely support our team.
No organisation gets everything right all the time, and we wouldn't want to work in an environment where people felt unable to share concerns or suggest improvements. Creating a culture where people feel safe to speak openly is just as important as celebrating what's working well.
That's why surveys like this matter. They provide a valuable opportunity to listen to the people who experience our culture every day and ensure their voices help shape the future of the business.
Positive Feedback Doesn't Mean the Work Stops
Although the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, there were some clear themes around where we'd like to improve.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, many employees expressed a desire for more opportunities to connect socially with colleagues, particularly in a hybrid working environment. As we've grown as a business, creating those opportunities to strengthen relationships and maintain our close-knit culture becomes increasingly important.
There was also strong interest in our sustainability, community, and volunteering activities. As we continue our B Corp journey, we know our people want to play an active role in creating a positive impact beyond the workplace, and that's something we're excited to develop further.
The survey also reinforced the importance of continuing to focus on employee development, progression and transparency as the business grows. These weren't necessarily surprises, but they were valuable reminders of where we should focus our energy next.
What This Means for Our B Corp Journey
One of the reasons employee engagement is so important is because it aligns directly with how we want to operate as a business. Being a responsible business isn't just about delivering excellent service to our clients. It's about considering the impact our decisions have on employees, communities, and the wider world.
As part of our B Corp journey, we're committed to ensuring employee feedback helps shape business decisions. Listening to our people and acting on what we hear is fundamental to creating positive outcomes and building a business that balances purpose with profit.
The survey has given us valuable insight into where we're already making a positive impact and where we have opportunities to do more.
You Said. We Listened. We're Acting.
The most important part of any survey is what happens next. Based on the feedback we've received, we're focusing on four key areas:
Strengthening Team Connection
Creating more opportunities for people to connect, collaborate and build relationships across the business.
Expanding Community and Volunteering Initiatives
Developing opportunities for employees to get involved in activities that support our communities and sustainability goals.
Continuing to Invest in Our People
Maintaining a strong focus on development, progression, and recognition as we continue to grow.
Keeping the Conversation Going
Introducing regular opportunities for feedback so we can continue listening and measuring our progress over time.
Looking Ahead
The biggest takeaway from this survey is not that we've achieved a high score. It's that we've built a culture worth protecting and continually improving.
Creating a great place to work is never a finished project. It requires constant attention, honest conversations, and a willingness to listen and evolve.
Whilst we're incredibly proud of the feedback we've received, we have no intention of resting on our laurels. If anything, these results motivate us to keep pushing forward, maintain the high standards we've set for ourselves and continue building a business where people feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work.
To everyone who took the time to share their feedback, thank you.
Your honesty, trust and commitment help make Inflection Point the business it is today, and we're excited to continue building what comes next together.
